What is REW, and how can I use it with RoomMatching?

REW (Room EQ Wizard) is free acoustic measurement and analysis software that helps you understand how your audio system and room interact. It interfaces directly with both the Dutch & Dutch 8c and 6c. For 6c support, download the latest beta from the REW API beta releases page.

With a measurement microphone, you can explore the response at different listening positions, identify room resonances and see what happens when you move your speakers. REW also lets you calculate and refine EQ filters, then transfer them directly to your speakers’ built-in processing.
