How is the audio signal split across the different drivers of my Dutch & Dutch system.
Most loudspeakers split the incoming audio signal across different drivers. The smallest driver, the tweeter, handles the highest frequencies. For the Dutch & Dutch 8c that’s anything above 1250 Hz (thanks to the waveguide). Its cardioid midrange driver covers the middle tones - between 100 Hz and 1250 Hz. And its Boundary Coupled Bass drivers on the rear of the speaker, are responsible for the frequencies below 100 Hz.
